Federal Women’s Trainer Michael Biegler has appointed 28 female players in his preliminary bid for the home championship (1st to 17th December) and has reported to the World Association IHF.
Only from this circle can the maximum 16-head cadre, which must be officially appointed on the eve of the opening game on the 1st December in Leipzig against Cameroon, are compiled. During the tournament, two changes with players from the 28er pool are possible.
The hot phase of the preparation of the World Cup begins for the selection of the DHB on November 12th with a course up to November 15th in Rotenburg at Fulda. Work will continue in Leverkusen from November 17th. The last test games will be played on the 24th of November (19-hour) in Slovakia and on the 25th of November (17-hour) in Dresden against Iceland. The WM project starts on November 27th with the arrival at Leipzig.
