Bavaria FC is said to be interested in defence player Gianluca Mancini from AS Rome. According to Italian media, in the recent past, Munich has been involved with the defensive player.
Even weeks ago, according to “calciomercato”, the German record champion has been collecting information about Gianluca Mancini. The 24-year-old national player switched from Bergamo to Rome last summer on a lease basis and is strongly committed to 2020 by the capitals. His contract with AS is up to 2024.
Already at the beginning of 2019 Mancini is said to have been a theme in Munich. At that time the Gazetta dello Sport reported the interest of the record master. In addition to the Bavarians, the BVB, Inter Milan and Rome are said to have been among the clubs that had an eye on the defender.
Although some construction sites in the Bavarian defense are still open in view of the season 2020/21, a transfer of Mancinis is considered rather unlikely. However, the Italian could be questioned as a replacement for Lucas Hernandez or Jerome Boateng, whose future in Isar seems currently open.
