Helmut Marko believes in WM titles for Max Verstappen

Red Bull Motorsport Advisor Helmut Marko already believes in the first championship title of his driver Max Verstappen in this Formula One season.

The timetable fits. Max has so far reached the maximum, the most important positions. He is on a sensational journey there,”Marko said in an interview with the Austrian”Kronen Zeitung”about the Dutch:”Max has scored twice as many points as in the comparison period of the previous year.”

The 21-year-old Verstappen is ahead of the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan on Sunday in Baku in rank three of the World Championships. Two fourth and a third placed 39-points for the five-time Grand Prix winner. However, defending champion Lewis Hamilton (68) and his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas (62) are clearly ahead. The Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel (37) and Charles Leclerc (36).

Marko also praised with a heavy heart the silver arrows, which until now have been bent three double sequences in a row. “The silver arrows are the only ones that can be seen in the past. They are the only constant, although they do not have the fastest car, but the most constant that is fleeting with every tire,”said the Austrian:”You have to admit that, even if I don’t like it.”
