Media: Schalke wants to commit Kenny firmly in January

No wonder the fans of the buttons hope that the 22-year-old can be held even after the end of the loan at the end of the season. FC Schalke 04 allegedly plans to contract the defensive player as early as January. That’s what the Daily Mail says. Whether or not the plan will open, however, is still in the stars. At first Kenny reacted rather evasively to the question of his future.

“It’s fun to play on this team, the coach fits the club and the fans are simply superb,” the lawyer on the Schalke homepage praised, but then avoided a clear confession: “I’m focusing on it first, In the 19th round, Kenny contested the obligatory games for the royal flowers, scored a match and scored two goals. After the season, the native Liverpooler would have to return to FC Everton, where his contract expires in the summer 2022.

On returning to the island, Kenny would also lose the opportunity to spend the holidays in peace. The youngster enjoyed his free time in the family.

“It was very nice to celebrate the holidays and the change of year together with my family and friends in England. It was a whole new feeling for me. I feel that it makes up for me being able to recharge the batteries, Kenny said to “schalke04.de”. In England, the game is not stopped during the holidays.

Before the decision has to be made, Kenny wants to fight as many games as possible for Schalke. In order to keep the winning tribal place, “I work hard again every day,” explained the Brit.
