The German national player Hendrik Pekeler does not want to be in the World Championship in January.
“After long and thorough consideration I have decided to give up the World Cup in January. The decision was not easy for me because I like to play for Germany and we have a great team with a strong cohesion,”Pekeler told Mannheim Morning. He justified the decision to take a break after the strenuous year 2016. After the World Cup he likes to play again for the national team.
Federal trainer Dagur Sigur sson has already informed him and told him, “I will only be available in case of an emergency if a staff shortage arises in my position. Whether or not he nominates me for the 28th cadre is his decision alone,”said the 25-year-old Rhine Neckar Lion professional.
