Report: FC Bavaria does not submit an offer for Roca

Recently Marc Roca’s adviser Juan Manuel Mata had publicly stressed that a change of client from Espanyol Barcelona was “still possible”. According to media reports, a deal with FC Bayern Munich was imminent. But the Spanish club does not want to know about it, the German record champion is probably not going to make an offer.

According to the “picture” the Munich people will not make an offer for Roca. The 22-year-old does not fit the profile of FC Bavaria. The double winner is looking for a defensive six with a strong opening. At Roca, the toughness of the defense is not strong enough.

The message in the boulevard newspaper is consistent with quotes from an Espanyol speaker. “We are not aware that the player wants to leave the club”, he is quoted by “Spox” and “Goal” as saying: “Since the 17th. There is speculation about his future in July. Now it’s the 23rd. August – nothing has happened since then.”

Previously the”L’Equipe”reported that Munich and Roca had agreed on a five-year contract. As a result, FC Bavaria pays the exit clause at the level of 40 million euros in order to get the 22-year-old out of his or her current contract up to 2022. Should the double-winner withdraw the clause, Espanyol would not have a chance to veto a stay of Roca.

Does Roca even cancel Real Madrid for FC Bavaria? In Munich, Roca is to follow in the footsteps of Renato Sanches. The Portuguese joins the French club OSC Lille.

The “picture” also reported on Friday about the interest of the German record master, but no concrete discussions have taken place. According to the German boulevard leaflet, Espanyol is even ready to withdraw Roca from an offer of 30 million euros.

Roca wants to leave its current club Espanyol Barcelona and prefers a change to Munich, despite competition from Real Madrid and Inter Milan. The U21 European Champion would like to play with fellow countrymen Thiago and Superstar Coutinho. In addition, he paints good chances of using trainer Niko Kovac.

With a first 18-million-euro offer, the Bavarians are to be lightned in July. After the Sanches exit is in dry towels, it is quite realistic that the Munich people will increase it again significantly.

According to “Marca” there has already been agreement for weeks between the Bavarians and the Spanish U21 European Champion over a five-year contract. The adviser of the 22-year-old midfielder had even confirmed contact. “All further information has Hasan [Salihamidzic.d. Red],” he told Spox in June.

Bavarian CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, however, denied the co-sponsored offer. “There has been no contact, no negotiations with the club,” and moreover, he denied the co-sponsored offer. The player has a “knowledge clause in the contract”.

At Espanyol Roca is an undisputed tribal player. In 35-league operations in the last season he was only four times not over the full distance in the field. At the U21-EM, the defensive middle fielder had a large share in the coup of the Spaniards.
