Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the CEO of FC Bavaria Munich, holds nothing in the discussion about high salaries of football professionals about a fundamental disclosure of the salars.
This is “cold coffee”, the 64-year-old said in an interview with the “mirror”: “This would only provoke a debate of envy.”
It is “known that the players earn a lot of money. But if we were to publish this on Heller and Pfennig, we would have a bizarre discussion in the league team cabins and in the public. Who are we doing this for?”
Fritz Keller, President of the German Football Federation (DFB), also mentioned the possibility of a last disclosure.
As the DFB boss sees Rummenigge in times of the Coronan crisis, however, still has the chance “to introduce a piece of rationality and thus also more stability” into international football.
” Top clubs in Europe, including ourselves, have tried every summer to pick the most beautiful raisins from the cake in order to become even more attractive, to be even more competitive and thus to increase our sales.”
